In connection with the UIA 2024 International Forum on Diversecity, the 2024 Extraordinary General Assembly (EGA) took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 18–19 November 2024. On the first day, 18 November, the assembly acknowledged the reports of the International Officers, Vice-Presidents, Council Committees, Commissions, and Work Programmes, as well as the final report on the Copenhagen Congress and the preparations for the Barcelona Congress.

The 2024 Daylight Talk series kicks off with ‘Light, Views, Transparencies’ by Liene Jākobsone in collaboration with the Art Academy of Latvia.

Discussing some of the practice’s projects, the lecture will reveal a significant part of the conceptual approach of Sampling: the exploration of how architecture unfolds in the eyes of its inhabitants and what unexpected and unusual experiences it can offer.
