Brazilian Institute of Architects Guidebook for the 2030 Agenda

During the year of 2019, the UIA Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Monitoring Commission coordinated the publication of the first global guidebook with architectural projects tied to the 17 SDGs. The members of the Commission – representatives from different regions and several countries – stimulated by the success of the guidebook, began to work with their own architectural institutes on national versions. In Brazil, it was no different and in early 2020, inspired by the preparations of the UIA Rio de Janeiro World Congress of Architects, the 2030 Agenda Workgroup of the Urban Policy and Social Housing Commission of the IAB launched a call for projects and plans to compose a fully Brazilian publication.
