Public Administration Town Project Competition

This international competition for the “PAT Administrative City” project was located in Chungcheongnam Province. This competition was designed by the authorities of the Republic of Korea as part of the decentralisation strategy intended to balance growth and development in the country.

This competition was organised by the Multifunctional Administrative City Construction Agency (MACCA) and the Korean Land Corporation (KLC). It was an open international competition, in a single stage and approved by the International Union of Architects (UIA).

Nam June Paik Museum

The Kyonggi Cultural Foundation launched a single stage open international ideas competition for the design of a museum dedicated to the media artist Nam June Paik.

Renewable Energy Sources and Bio-Climatic Archi. (Greece)

This international competition was launched by the International Union of Architects for the 2006-2008 period on the theme of ‘Renewable Energy Sources and Bioclimatic Architecture for Shells’, to shelter people affected by natural disasters. 

This was a one-stage international ideas competition.

The competition invited architects to bring together their ideas for the creation of new housing spaces in extreme and extraordinary conditions such as natural disasters, making possible a rapid and efficient settlement for affected people that could be adapted to uncommon geographic, topographic, ecological, social or political contexts.

This international competition was launched by the International Union of Architects for the 2006-2008 period on the theme of ‘Renewable Energy Sources and Bioclimatic Architecture for Shells’, to shelter people affected by natural disasters.
