The UIA Architecture and Children Work Programme announces the 6th edition of the UIA Golden Cubes Awards, recognising initiatives that help children and young people (from kindergarten to 18 years old) understand architecture and the forces shaping the built environment. The official launch webinar will take place on 11 April 2025, from 15:00 to 16:30 (Paris time).

Raising Awareness Through Architecture
Introducing young people to architecture, cities, and sustainable development provides them with the knowledge to engage with the built environment and influence the political, economic, and social strategies shaping urban spaces.
Selection Process
National Selection: UIA Member Sections conduct pre-selections and nominate one candidate per category.
International Jury: A panel evaluates the national nominees and selects the winners.
Key Dates
15 March 2026: Deadline for national submissions
April 2026: International jury deliberations & winner announcement
July 2026: Award ceremony at the UIA Congress in Barcelona
