The CNAPPC (Italian National Council of Architects) will hold an international conference with the theme “Skills of Architects for skilled Cities”. The event, scheduled for 24 May at the Roma Tre University in Rome, will discuss what the next generation of Architects should know while seeking to address challenges such as urban frameworks, the effects of climate change, digitalisation and new urban poverty.
It will be part of a series of events organised as part of the Biennial on Public Spaces taking place on 24 to 27 May.
The conference’s theme falls within the framework of “The European Year of Skills” – an initiative by the European Union that aims to give a fresh impetus to lifelong learning, empowering people and companies to contribute to the green and digital transitions, supporting innovation and competitiveness.
UIA President José Luis Cortés will speak on the theme “Wwhat should we ask of the next generation of architects?”
