Ireland 2050: Balanced by Design

The Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI), in partnership with the Academy of Urbanism (AoU), will host a conference on 25–26 March 2025 at Dublin Castle, bringing together architects, urbanists, policymakers, and industry leaders to explore the critical transformations needed to ensure sustainable urban development. 

With cities worldwide facing climate change, demographic shifts, economic uncertainty, and technological disruption, the conference will examine the planning, design, and governance reforms necessary to create resilient and future-ready urban environments.
