The UIA Heritage and Cultural Identity Work Programme will host a webinar titled “Heritage Management in the Context of Urban Renewal: Issues and Approaches” on 12 March 2025, from 13:00 to 15:00 (Paris time).

This session will address the challenges of preserving historic urban centres amid the pressures of urban renewal. The discussion will explore available tools and strategies, highlighting both successful preservation efforts and projects that have encountered difficulties. Concrete examples will provide valuable insights into balancing modernisation and conservation.
