2027 Mumbai

The city of Mumbai will host the next UIA International Forum (UIA2027Mumbai) from 12 to 16 November 2027, under the theme “Urban Regeneration”. Organised by the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA), the event will explore how rapidly growing cities can achieve a balance between economic development, sustainability, and social inclusivity.

The Forum will feature the following sub-themes:

• Finance and Sustainability: Strategies for financing urban regeneration while ensuring sustainable development
• Humanity and Social Inclusiveness: Ensuring that urban regeneration benefits all communities
• Ecology and Cultural Heritage: Preserving the identity of cities and their environment in the context of urban growth

Forum attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in guided city tours, technical visits including to the Jio World Convention Centre as well as excursions to India’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites, such as Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and the Elephanta Caves.
