Urban Replanning and Architecture Design of Maspero Triangle
The Egyptian Ministry of State for Urban Renewal and Informal Settlements (MURIS) and the Governorate of Cairo organized an international competition by invitation for the development and design of the master plan of the Maspero triangle district, with an area of 35 ha in downtown Cairo.
The goal of this competition was to inspire an urban design that exemplifies community diversity, showcases heritage, protects the environment and preserves the diversity of its residents.
MOLEWA (Mount Lu Estate of World Architecture)

Bamiyan Cultural Centre
UNESCO, with the collaboration of the Government of Afghanistan, organised an international open competition in 2014 for the design of the Bamiyan Cultural Centre.
The realisation of this project on one of the most prominent sites overlooking the Buddha Cliffs was made possible by the support of the Bamiyan Governor and Mayor, the Ministry of Information and Culture, the Ministry of Agriculture and the people of Bamiyan. This project is located near the UNESCO World Heritage property of Bamiyan, which has outstanding universal value.
Dalseong Citizen’s Gymnasium
This competition aims to invite participants into an open ideas architectural design contest of the gymnasium for local residents in Hyeonpung-myeon located in Dalseong-gun (District), Daegu Metropolitan City, which is expected to begin construction in 2015.
It is organized by the Daegu Architectural Culture Confederation (DACC) and hosted by Dalseong-gun Office of Daegu Metropolitan City.

Rehabilitation of Place Lalla Yeddouna
The Agency of Partnership for Progress (APP), with its implementing partner, the Agency for the Development and Rehabilitation of the city of Fez (ADER-Fès), is issuing this competition for the design of a site in the Medina of Fez, Morocco, known as Place Lalla Yeddouna.
The competition is being conducted in the context of an international development program funded by the United States of America, acting through the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), in accordance with the Millennium Challenge Compact (the “Compact”) signed on August 31, 2007, between the United States of America and the Kingdom of Morocco.
