The UIA is dedicated to advancing the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and promoting architectural contributions that foster inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable cities. In partnership with UN-Habitat, the biennial UIA 2030 Award was established in 2021 to recognise and celebrate architectural work that actively supports the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the New Urban Agenda.
