The 2024 Obel Award Teaching Fellowships are now open for applications.
The three teaching fellowships provide funding to universities located in Australia, Africa and Asia to invite professional fellows to teach, create and incorporate new voices to develop impactful courses for university-level students. Fellows can apply from anywhere in the world and will be asked to teach two courses within a recognised university-level program. The call for applications features two themes: cities or adaptation as it refers to coastal resilience.
Three fellowships will be awarded in 2024; one each in (certain countries) Asia, Africa, and Australia. With a grant of up to € 75,000 each, for teaching to begin in 2025.
The deadline for application is July 1, 2024 with the announcement of winning candidates taking place in September 2024. Successful applicants will be required to start teaching in 2025.
