Along with the plenary sessions led by prestigious speakers, the UIA Member Sections and Working Bodies presented their activities and initiatives through exhibitions and seminars.
Keynote speakers provided inspiration and guidance on how architecture and the built environment can contribute to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.

*Fellowship: The UIA World Congress of Architects CPH 2023 supported attendance from lower-middle income countries as listed by the World Bank and offers 100 fellowships for students and 100 fellowships for architects. Students who received a fellowship were entitled to a free registration for the entire congress. Fellowship architects were entitled to a discount of 75% on the registration fee for the congress.
The UIA World Congress of Architects CPH 2023 supports attendance from lower-middle income countries* as listed by the World Bank and offers 100 fellowships for students and 100 fellowships for architects.
Students who receive a fellowship are entitled to a free registration for the entire congress and budget accommodation for 4 nights waived (hostel).
Fellowship architects are entitled to a discount of 75% on the registration fee for the congress.
Priority will be given to applicants who are contributing to the World Congress programme (such as abstract submitter, panelist or speaker). Furthermore age and gender of applicants will be considered to ensure a balanced distribution of the fellowships.
The fellowship application deadline was 15 January 2023.
